Whether you are a home user setting up your new computer for office work or gaming, or a business seeking reliable system configuration and support I offer numerous services to help people get their work done; network design and implementation, web service roll outs, storage systems, remote backup and restore services, etc…
My core focus is on two areas, home office computing/entertainment, and business oriented computing (network services, workstation/server support).
I offer several fee structures depending on the services rendered: flat rate/per job, hourly services, and retainer services. I provide free estimates and can offer insight as to which would be more cost effective. Most jobs can be resolved in less than one hour, and I pro-rate my time to provide the most cost effective and fair services.
I do not charge for travel time within the Portland-Metro area.
Home Office / Small Business:
- System configuration, installation, and repair (custom systems or supporting Dell, HP, etc)
- Hardware support for systems and accessories (upgrades, printers, cameras, scanners)
- Software support for desktops and workstations
- Security software and hardware installation and support
- Virus and Spam removal services, includes Anti-Virus and Spy ware prevention
- System Backup/Restore (includes training, backup validation, and restore assistance)
- Home network installation and security (wireless, parental controls, firewalls)
- Small Office servers (file servers, collaboration, remote-backup)
- Remote troubleshooting assistance – desktop sharing, voice chat (great for training and fixing problems that can be resolved remotely)
Business Services:
For businesses, I offer hourly and a low-cost retainer services if you require the peace of mind of always having a technician available for your office or business. If you opt for retainer services, I will provide a 24/7 number to reach me and guarantee 4 hour on-site response. You can choose how many hours you require my assistance per month, with regular scheduled visits and emergency support available.
